I have mentioned Meson Son Ferrer before as far as their menu del dia are concerned.
They are still offering an above-average ŽmenuŽ at 7.50 (ex. drink) but what IŽd like to recommend to you is their a la carte, particularly their chargrill dishes.
We went there recently for lunch and chose a plate of grilled prawns to start.
The dish was enough for two and the large prawns were plump and delicious.
We then followed that with a mixed meat kebab from the grill and a shoulder of lamb from the oven. They were both excellent and importantly the chef obviously is a fan of using herbs and spices which many restaurants seem to ignore. The lamb in fact was declared one of the very best tasted.
With a bottle of wine (and some free hierbas) the total bill came to 43.66 Euros. Good value indeed.
On week-ends they specialise in suckling pig- you must telephone to reserve.
