G´day John,
Just a few lines to tell you about hypnotherapy for stopping smoking. It works!
I went to Mr Louis Ravelle in San Agustin because I have tried everything to stop. I always seem to stop for a while and then start again but smoke even more than before I stopped.
Not having much faith, I turned up at Mr Ravelle´s office and he explained the whole process clearly and concisely to me. He than put me in a state of hypnosis although I was aware all the time of what was happening. In fact, I did not think I was being hypnotised at all.
When I left his office I had absolutely no craving left for cigarettes. As I walked down the street I could smell the flowers. Sounds silly but that is how it was. I have since been in the pub, had discussions with clients and all the other things that normally trigger the need for a cigarette and not once have I even thought about having one.
Because this worked so well on me, I took Darrell, our fuel man to see him.
Darrell was doing 40 a day at the time. That was three weeks ago at the time of writing and he has not had one since. Both of us agree that we never thought it could be so easy!
Mr Ravelle says that the secret is that one becomes a NON SMOKER rather than an EX SMOKER. Being a non-smoker there is no desire to smoke whereas, being an ex smoker the desire is always there.
I should mention that Mr Ravelle offers no guarantees but in 95% of cases his system works.
All the best,
Peter

Shafted in August.... Or Not?!
Picture this: - Tuesday holiday starts with planned day: - All aboard their Sunseeker Mustique 42, Pto Portals to Es Trenc, slow down and just deciding where to drop the hook when suddenly you lose drive on the port engine. Drop anchor to investigate then a quick swim confirms the propeller shaft has snapped between the p-bracket and the propeller. After some 20 minutes in a dinghy the propeller was located on the seabed and with the aid of rope and a diver the prop is retrieved. What better time to break for lunch and a drink than this!
Best set off in good time for a long slow trip back to Portals (3 hours). On arrival Squadron´s team were contacted, the sea school assisted with mooring and arrangements were made with Mundimar for the 1st lift out next morning (Wednesday). The owners of the boat packed a bag and were found alternative accommodation so repairs could be carried out.
The remainder of the shaft was removed and, as a delivery time of 3 weeks was quoted for a replacement shaft, something had to be done! Just a passing comment to a colleague from Ocean Marine and immediately a possible solution appeared - they had a shaft that appeared suitable however it was 3 foot too long. Whilst working in Mundimar´s yard I had often seen a large lathe sat in pole position in their workshop. When I asked if it would be possible to modify this shaft i.e. cut it, taper the end, make a thread and key-way, it was as if this was an every day request! The majority of the works were carried out immediately to the shaft; the only problem appeared to be the milling of a key-way in the taper. Carlos from Mundimar suggested it should go first thing in the morning of Friday to Mas Miguel in Palma where the same day turn around was promised - yeh right, in August??!! To my utter amazement the shaft arrived back at Mundimar ready to install at the exact time of 15h30. The shaft was then fitted to the vessel and the boat was launched that evening, a Friday I might add, ready for the owner to move back on board and continue his holiday.
From myself and on behalf of our client I would like to congratulate and thank all those involved for their assistance with this unusual repair in the height of the season and without which Mr "X" and his family would be high and dry for their summer holiday.
