The experience
You saw a thrilling film at the cinema, so why did it not live up to those memories when you watched it at home?
Sit down. Relax in your favourite chair. Select the movie you desire. Touch one button.
- As if by magic the lights lower, the drapes close, the movie screen descends, and your surround sound system comes to life. You are transported to another time and place.

How do you create that experience?
The key is to find an expert who will listen to you and who will finish by providing a solution that creates that experience.
Good design is the key. The specification must accommodate rapidly changing technologies. The specification must be ‘state-of-the-art’, but also, it must be flexible enough to incorporate technology that has yet to be invented.
Systems can be designed to do many great things, from controlling AV throughout your house, to automating lights, drapes, security, and much more.
You can also forget the multitude of remote controls, as a simple-to-use, remote control covering only the functions you require for your personal use can be included.

A brief overview of the equipment required to tease your senses...
Projectors

CRT projectors are the best type of projector for high-quality images. Although not as bright as DLP projectors, they are capable of displaying much higher quality images in their original form. These projectors are best suited for low ambient light conditions, and are typically used with screens less than 100Ó wide.
DLP projectors are among the brightest projectors available. These projectors are perfect for situations where ambient light cannot be controlled, or for larger screen applications in which a CRT projector cannot generate enough light.

Projector Screens
There are two ways that you can view a projected image.
The first is a material screen, electronically or manually lowered and raised, that can be incorporated into custom made furniture.
The second is a specially formatted, highly reflective acrylic coating that transforms any smooth paintable surface into a high performance screen. Almost any screen imaginable can be created, in any size or shape, ranging from curved to extremely large screens.

Plasma Displays
A gas plasma display is made up of tiny glass bubbles. Each bubble contains a gas-like substance, the plasma, and a phosphor coating. These bubbles are made up of three tiny parts coloured red, green and blue. When an image needs to be displayed, electric current flows through these three parts in designated areas only, and creates ultraviolet rays. Millions of bubbles create one vivid rich image. These displays measure from 42 to 63 inches and are best suited to main reception rooms, master bedrooms or suites.

TFT & LCD Displays
When smaller screen sizes are required TFT and LCD displays are a versatile alternative to a traditional bulky TV with a Cathode Ray Tube or even where a Plasma display is too large. They combine exceptional picture quality and brightness with the flexibility of flat thin screens thus giving you the freedom to watch your favourite images wherever you wish.

The Source
The Source is where your audio and video images originate from. Your Source could be a Digital Satellite TV receiver, DVD, CD, VCR, turntable etc. or all of these.
If the quality of the Source signal is inadequate, your viewing and listening experience will be reduced. Components that produce a high quality, clear signal are essential. If the Source is of low quality, the system is doomed to be low quality from the start, even if the amplifier and speakers are of a high quality.
You will need guidance to choose the right equipment to achieve the standard that your ears and eyes will always appreciate.

Speakers
Loudspeakers are an important part of any entertainment system, whether large or small. It is essential to acoustically match speakers to the environment in which they will be used.
By studying room sizes, positions of doors, windows and furnishings, a choice of speakers can be made to optimise your enjoyment.

Multi room distribution
Listen to the radio in the shower, your favourite CD while preparing dinner, watch a DVD in bed or TV in the bath - whatever you want.
Your garden is very much part of your home and a multi room system can really enhance those summer barbeques.
How about speakers on the patio, by the pool or even in the garden itself? By using environmental speakers and waterproof control panels, all this can be achieved.

Control & Lighting
It is not necessary to have hundreds of remote control handsets to control such sophisticated equipment. All the controls can be put on one touch screen and be made as simple as touching a familiar icon.
All your audio, video, IT, security - even your drapes and a large choice of mood and scene lighting can be controlled from customised wireless or fixed touch screens & keypads.
