A new chandlery has opened called Bosun’s Locker which is situated at the bottom of Avenida Argentina next to the IZAR offices and near the Hostal Cuba, just across the road from Real Club Nautico Palma.
Phil Spear, who is taking some time off carpentry work is heading up this retail section of Modesty Yacht Carpentry but says that he hasn’t, ‘Downed tools completely’ and after the initial activity of launching the chandlery he’ll be back laying decks etc.
Spear added that, “By buying directly from the manufacturers such as Clin Azur, Autoglym and 3M their aim is to supply all yachtsmen’s needs at realistic, competitive prices with large discounts for bulk and professional orders”.
They also stock King and King A+ and A-, Shurhold, Sikaflex as well as a large range of everyday consumables.
