David Ireland and Lucy Newns are the new owners and operators of Deckers Marine Uniforms.
David first fell in love with the water when he raced cadets at the age of ten and went onto represent his country in this class.
After university he took to the sea again having completed his Yacht-masters and worked in the yachting industry on boats such as ‘Borkumriff’, ‘Royal Oyster’ and ‘Double Haven’.
Lucy’s approach to the industry is both fresh and innovative. Being a ‘people person’ she decided to give up a career in Human Resources for a life in the sun making yachties look more presentable.
Both are committed to offering first class uniforms along with first class service.
To enable them to fulfil this commitment they are currently constructing Deckers online shop. This should be open for business in the next few weeks.
