One business sharing it´s 10th annivesary with The Islander this month, is Mallorca Clothing Company run by ex yacht Captain Alan Muir, who is still trading from his original premises at the Illetas Centre.
Alan came ashore after 13 years sailing the oceans of the world, the last seven of them on the classic 12 metre 1935 built SY Seven Seas.
When we asked him why he made that decision, he said because his wife Ann had told him to get “a proper job”!
