SUPERYACHT CUP - RARING TO GO!

The organisers of the 2007 Palma Superyacht Cup incorporating The New Zealand Millennium Cup which will be held from 16th to 19th June, have announced that the entry list is now up to 48 yachts.

After deciding to re-schedule the event in order to coincide with the 32nd Americaīs Cup program, they are delighted with the participation level, and excited at the prospect of up to 60 yachts from 30m to over 80m taking part in the racing.

During March it was announced that exclusive Swiss watchmakers Ulysse Nardin have joined The Superyacht Cup Palma as Title Sponsor, and having been the main sponsor in 2006, have now committed for 2 more years.
The latest news is that world famous boatbuilder Wally are supporting the event as a Gold Sponsor, seeing it as an ideal opportunity to showcase their range of sail and motor yachts to an audience of over 2,000 participants, guests and VIPīs who will be attending. Wally will also have 5 of their individually unique performance cruising yachts taking part, including Y3K their recently launched 30m sloop.

From their base at Dique del Oeste in Palma, The Superyacht and Millennium Cupīs will be held between the Louis Vuitton finals and the Americaīs Cup which starts on June 23rd, and it is anticipated many of the superyachts taking part in Palma will return to Valencia to watch the Americaīs Cup.
