The Medical Centre at Club de Mar, has been taken over by Doctors Ken and Rosemary Prudhoe, who have relocated from Tyneside in the UK. The centre will continue to be an MCA approved medical facility, and Ken has very kindly offered to compile the monthly “Doctor at Sea” article for The Islander, which has been produced so professionally by Doctors Ian Marshall and David Irons for many years.

O.S Safety S.L. based at Cami Fondo in Palma have launched two new concepts which compliment their present Safety Service offer.
A specialised Transport Service for the yachting industry, and a range of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBS) from Aquapro.

David Miller from O.S Safety commented, “these are both natural extensions to our present activities, as we have to transport our goods to and from yachts taking all special needs into account, and many yachts we supply safety equipment to have one or more RIBS on board as tenders”

Associated Marine Services of Cala dÓr, the specialist service providers for Sunseeker International Yachts, have announced that they have become distributors for the well proven Coppercoat anti-foulings.

The Anchorage Club Bar at Bendinat is opening its kiosk on the beach for the summer, and can be reached by the public on foot or by boat. After a complete revamp the kiosk will be officialy opened on the last Sunday of May.
From 10.00 to 22.00 every day, Robbie and Linnet will be offering a tasty selection of food and drinks, which you can enjoy by the waters edge, on the beach, or take back to your boat if anchored in the bay.
